Scott M. Rothman
Scott M. Rothman, a shareholder and manager of the firm’s title insurance group, joined Halberstadt Curley in 2005. In addition to his service on behalf of several national title underwriters, Mr. Rothman maintains a vibrant and diverse civil practice with a focus on shareholder disputes, business litigation and consultation, real estate transactions, zoning and land use advocacy, intellectual property litigation, creditor’s rights (and obligations), mortgage foreclosure law, construction law, and employment law. Mr. Rothman has counseled a variety of business clients as well as individuals. The philosophy which Mr. Rothman adheres to while representing clients of all stripes and sizes is a simple one: ask the right questions.
Mr. Rothman, a resident of Philadelphia and former teacher in the City’s School District, maintains his interest in education through coaching mock trial students and lecturing at Villanova Law School on the subject of title records and lien priorities. When not in the courtroom or classroom, Mr. Rothman can most assuredly be found at a playground somewhere with his wife, son, and daughter.
